History and Overviw
Mountfield was set up in 1986, Steady growth has followed over recent years thanks to a philosophy based on quality, service and client satisfaction. This has resulted in years of repeat business together with partnering and framework agreements being negotiated with regular clients.

To ensure that very high service levels were maintained Mountfield created two divisions in 2000: These were Direct Contracting Services (Data / IT Centres, refurbishment, interior fitting out and dilapidations), and Trade Contracting Services (specialist builderswork, ceilings, partitions, raised access flooring and joinery).

The divisions provide dedicated teams of people who meet our clients requirements as quickly and cost effectively as possible.

The advantages of the reorganisation was reinforced by each division having centralised group services such as plant hire, accounting and sub-contracting.

The company has achieved turnover growth from 1986 to a high of £29 million in 2001. Recent years have seen turnover ranging with current expectations being £20 million.

Mountfield prides itself on its excellent health and safety record and this has been supported over the years with several awards from major contractors and an excellent historical statistical record.
